FC Barcelona presents its third shirt
In order to pay tribute to the city of Barcelona through its design and to evoke one of the shirts that Barsa wore during the 1996/97 season, Nike presents in society the third shirt of FC Barcelona. Less than a week after the debut of the Champions League, the Catalan team and its technical sponsor announced the equipment to face Borussia Dortmund with a color that can attract the attention of many fans but has a lot of history. Based on that shirt that used glories of the club like Jose Mari Bakero, Josep Guardiola, Guillermo Amor, Luis Enrique, Hristo Stoickhov or Miquel Àngel Nadal was proclaimed champion of the Copa del Rey and the Recopa de Europa.
Another of the highlights of the new kit is the V-shaped retro style collar, which incorporates the Club's representative blue and maroon colors, as well as the sleeves, which also have a navy blue edge, while The FC Barcelona shield stands out in the chest area thanks to a prominent edging. Continuing the line of Nike, evokes the 90s, the incorporation of the old logo that the brand used during that decade. The kit is completed with pants in the same shade of the shirt with navy blue details on the pants and a Barça trim on the top of the socks.
