Could AS Roma become the new PSG?

Since the arrival of the "petrodollars", Paris Saint Germain has become the fashion team in Europe. Not only because of the exponential growth of its brand, the million-dollar hiring of big stars, but also the soccer ambition of a club with almost no history. In the last hours, the French newspaper L'Equipe published a news that made a lot of noise in Italian lands. Investors from Qatar would present an irresistible proposal for the purchase of AS Roma. According to the publication, the money would come from an investment fund different from that of the French club so as not to have problems with UEFA.

The reasons why AS Roma would be the club chosen by investors are similar to those of the PSG since it has three fundamental pillars: Great European capital, a lot of cultural and tourist influence. There is still no concrete offer but the expansion of Qatari money is inevitable in Europe and could be the necessary injection for several teams that need to return to being protagonists of the continent.
