City Football Group adds Bolivar as a new "Club Partner"

Deal closed. Bolivar gave the news that it will be the new "Club Partner" of City Football Group, becoming the first club to join in this category of sponsorship. The group will make an investment of more than 30 million dollars, which will include the construction of a new stadium. The news came after the announcement of the "Centenary Plan 2025", which is about Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed of the United Arab Emirates not being the owner of the club; instead, his role will be to advise on personal matters, patented technology, among other roles. Where does this go? This will benefit the Bolivian club who will be helped to increase their income, build high performance facilities and improve support for the youth.

The club's president, Marcelo Claure, announced 3 changes for this project:

1) He confirmed the construction of the Youth Academy in Santa Cruz that will have 4 professional courts and a condominium of houses for players between 13 and 17 years old.

2) Another project for 2021 is the construction of a stadium of its own, with a capacity of 25 thousand people. This work will cost around 25 million dollars.

3) After the agreement with the City Group (Puma is their clothing) announced that the German brand will dress the team in the upcoming season.

With this new contract Bolivar became the first partner club sponsored by the City Football Group. This is totally different from the cases of: Manchester City, Melbourne City FC, Montevideo City Toque, Lommel S.K, New York City FC, Mumbai City FC, Girona, Sichuan Jiunui FC, Yokohama F Marinos and Troyes AC that are part of the CFG franchise.
