
Bundesliga to implement AI-powered virtual advertising
The German league partnered with Swiss company UniqFEED to manage broadcast advertising graphics.
UniqFEED's AdApt software uses AI to digitally replace stadium ad boards during broadcasts.
The deal covers all 18 Bundesliga clubs, allowing region-specific ads. For example, Bayern Munich matches will show different ads to viewers in Argentina versus Spain.
The league has permitted virtual ads since 2018 with strict quality standards, now approved for UniqFEED's system.
