The most important appointment at the level of selections in South America, is just hours away. The CONMEBOL Copa América will begin the forty-sixth edition with the presence of the ten teams that make up the Confederation, plus the special participation of Qatar and Japan.
With great expectation on the part of the fans and the selections, we analyzed the market value of the twelve selections. Based on the Transfermarkt website, Brazil is the most expensive combination thanks to the amount of 970.5 million euros. Despite not having Neymar Jr., the news of those chosen by Tite allow the scratch to position itself at the top.
Behind Brazil is Argentina. The national team has a value of 647.75 million euros, of which 45% are covered by Lionel Messi (€ 150 million), Paulo Dybala (€ 85 million) and Sergio Agüero (€ 65 million). Just these three players, are the only Argentines that make up the "Top Ten" of the most valuable CONMEBOL Copa América.
In third location is Uruguay. The Uruguayan team, the winner of the contest, has a value of 453.9 million euros. With a team that mixes experience with youth, for the first time the most expensive player is neither of the two strikers (Luis Suárez and Edinson Cavani), but Atlético de Madrid defender José María Giménez (€ 70 million).
