Airbnb offers unique experience with Hugo Sánchez at Estadio Azteca
The lodging platform has activated its 2026 World Cup sponsorship with the historic Mexican goalscorer serving as host.
On April 5, following the iconic venue's grand reopening, two stadium suites will be converted into private accommodations with a direct view of the pitch.
The experience includes a meet-and-greet with Sánchez, a full stadium tour, a private Mexican dinner, and tickets to the tournament’s opening match on June 11 between Mexico and South Africa.
Airbnb was announced as a FIFA World Cup partner in 2025; another of its key activations included offering $750 USD to new hosts in tournament host cities.
