Super Bowl LIII generated six million dollars in bets

The completion of Super Bowl 53 moved about six million dollars in the bookmakers in the United States. According to the survey conducted by the American Gaming Association (AGA), one in ten citizens of the country bet on one of the two teams competing for the title of the NFL: New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams

Within the US territory, sports betting has been legalized in some states and this allowed for a notable increase in the number of people who decided on one franchise or another. Approximately 23 million citizens participated in bets from different homes in the Super Bowl Preview that crowned the New England Patriots as season champions.

The final of American football is one of the events with the highest audience in the United States and in the World, since 2010 the grand final exceeds 100 million spectators. Several companies have invested close to five million dollars for 30 seconds of advertising during the transmission of the game.
