New York Red Bulls joins the fight against childhood cancer
Small gestures can change a person's day and if that person is a child, the gesture is worth double. Football can be an engine for different actions that change the mood of fans. On this occasion, New York Red Bulls joined the NGO Tackle Kids Cancer to perform a fun activity with children with pediatric cancer who visited them on vacation. Each of the protagonists of the MLS franchise, went out to preheat the game against DC United with their booties fully intervened with drawings of animated characters and superheroes, chosen by those children.
Each of the children was paired with a footballer and together they designed the booties that later became the spectacular designs they wore. Pokemos, Batman, SpongeBob and Mario Bross, were some of the reasons chosen for children to feel represented in each player.
