Louis Vuitton unveils official World Cup Trophy travel case

Continuing a tradition that began in 2010, the French luxury fashion house will once again be responsible for delivering the trophy to the World Cup final.

This Sunday, as Argentina and Spain face off in New Jersey, the trophy will arrive at the stadium inside a custom-designed trunk. The bespoke case features the iconic LV monogram pattern, a striking golden "V" on the front, and refined gold hardware.

While the original trophy will be presented at MetLife Stadium by a football legend, Louis Vuitton will also manufacture three limited-edition replica cases for commercial release worldwide.

The partnership between Louis Vuitton and FIFA began at South Africa 2010 and has continued for every World Cup since. The luxury brand has also crafted specialized travel cases for other major sporting events, including the Paris 2024 Olympic Torch and the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix.
