EA Sports FIFA 19 Global Series breaks record of views
Electronic Arts Inc. and the International Football Federation (FIFA) announced that EA SPORTS FIFA 19 Global Series generated more than 680 million minutes watched, increasing by 60% compared to the previous year and 61 million total views, by 25% more than in 2018. This growth in the audience of FIFA 19 Global Series is based on key factors such as the number of official partners (17 partners compared to the 8 that it had last season), the first eChampions League in collaboration with UEFA and the first FIFA eNations Cup in history.
"Our alliances with FIFA, UEFA and the 17 world-class football leagues elevate the connection between traditional sports and the unprecedented participation of competitors and fans." Now, we see the top 128 players who qualified FIFA 19 Global Series compete to become the world champion in the FIFA eWorld Cup 2019, "said Brent Koning, EA SPORTS FIFA Competitive Game Commissioner. During the season, FIFA 19 drove the players' stardom by sharing their stories, discovering the tests and difficulties of the competition and taking the score of points for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
