"Dibu" Martínez donated his gloves for a charity auction that raised $100,000
The auction was organized by the FUNDAMI foundation in Mar del Plata to raise funds for the city's Maternal and Child Hospital.
The event marked the 25th edition of FUNDAMI’s Solidarity Gala Dinner, attended by over 400 guests, including Mirtha Legrand, the foundation's honorary patron.
The autographed gloves of the World Cup-winning goalkeeper were auctioned for $100,000, contributing to the nearly 120 million pesos raised for the foundation. All proceeds will go toward expanding and renovating the hospital, including a mother’s residence project and new occupational therapy and physiotherapy areas.
