Adidas has unveiled the new home jersey for River Plate.
It is inspired by the 1986 team, which won championships in Argentina, South America, and worldwide.
The jersey features the classic red sash of the "Millonario" on the front, with Adidas stripes and other details in the same color, and white cuffs and collar. The distinctive feature is the back, which is entirely white to accommodate the numbers and name, using the typography from the 1986 team, with the German brand also serving as the technical sponsor.
It is now available for purchase at official Adidas and River Plate stores, both physical and online, priced at $99,999, or $169,999 for the "authentic" player version.
