"The Stand(Out)", the action carried out by Cerveza Pilsener
There is nothing nicer than cheering for your club, giving it strength while the players are on the field. Fans do everything to see their teams succeed, they applaud them in good times and support them in bad, and that is why Pilsener, the official brand of the Ecuadorian soccer championship knew from the beginning that cheering from home is not the same as being at the stadium, neither for the fans nor for their teams.
Being creative and taking advantage of the fact that stadiums in Ecuador are surrounded by large buildings (where you can see the game perfectly), the brand, with the help of its agency Paradais DDB, implemented an unexpected idea for the fans; it built fabulous boxes on the terraces. This required a significant investment, but the results proved that the idea was successful, reviving the experience of returning to a stadium and cheering on their teams live.
From this fact was born "The Stand(Out)" a project led by Cerveza Pilsener and conceived by Paradais DDB, which also visualized the compliance with the strict biosecurity controls in most of the stadiums in the country. Liga de Quito at the Bellavista Stadium in Ambato; Dep. Cuenca vs. Emelec at the Serrano Aguilar Stadium in Cuenca.
Agustín Febres-Cordero, Chief Creative Officer of Paradais DDB, expressed his happiness at fulfilling the fans' dream of returning to the stadium: "This is an action that we are especially happy to have been able to carry out in a year as complicated as the one we had to live through. This is how Pilsener made it possible for a group of fans to enjoy live soccer again, living an unforgettable and safe experience".
