Claro becomes the new continental promoter of Qatar 2022
Just 275 days before the start of a new World Cup, FIFA announces a new agreement with a company with a significant presence in many countries passionate about football. This is Claro, which became the continental promoter of Qatar 2022 for end users in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay. The telecommunications provider will kick off its association with the tournament by offering unique promotions to connect with fans across South America through branded assets, tickets and pre-produced content, available with Claro in South America throughout the year.
“Claro will help build excitement for this year’s tournament and spread the joy of this innovative FIFA World Cup™ throughout South America, a continent that has spawned world champions nine times over the years.” FIFA Commercial Revenue Director Nick Brown said.
“Claro has unique telecommunications resources that will connect fans with all the excitement that a FIFA World Cup represents.
