Nike pays tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo with a special edition of boots
These are the Mercurial "CR7 Origins," inspired by the ones the Portuguese star wore during his debut with Sporting Lisbon.
The boots feature the same black, "cinder," and yellow color scheme and the silhouette of the Mercurial Vapor I. They also include the date of CR7's first match in 2002 and his signature on the insole.
Only 7,777 pairs are available for sale, a reference to the iconic number 7 that Cristiano wore for most of his career.
CR7 has been partnered with Nike since 2003, allowing him to release over 30 signature boots and sign a lifetime contract with the brand in 2016.
