BBVA expanded its sponsorship in the Liga MX
The commercial relationship that links Liga MX with BBVA is one of the most solid. Beginning the same six years ago, the Mexican leaders presented the extension of the agreement until 2021. The bank, which modified its visual identity in recent weeks, will continue as title sponsor of the tournament.
But the most interesting data that throws this renovation is the inclusion in the link of the Ascent tournament and the Women's League. This will be the first time that the Mexican women's tournament has the support of a brand of this magnitude. Betting that the visibility of the same, the furor that caused the World Cup in France may have been an initial kick of this decision.
With this renewal the Mexican competitions will be called: Liga BBVA BBVA, Ascent BBVA MX and Liga MX BBVA Femenil. Showing a strong link to the sport in its entirety, the decision of the bank and Mexican managers can be a kick-start in the future development.
